Hi, I was still having sync issues still after the update. I have the Fitbit versa paired with galaxy j7 prime, I've done everything Fitbit's support articles suggested but the sync problem would start up again. I think I found a fix, 3 days no issues yet, the problem may be android's nearby device scanning. So I went to setting>location>improve location> then I turned off nearby device bluetooth scanning so the bluetooth wouldn't drift looking for location data/"nearby" enabled devices. Hope this helps
