Potential Cause for Versa Not Resetting Steps Daily

(Not wanting to give up on the Versa).

I have observed that my Versa will continuously reset steps to ZERO each night when connected to AC power directly and not to a USB connector port (2.1 v).

My observations are based on my travel...  when at home, I connect to a USB charge port on my office desk. I'm lucky to see 1 or 2  ZERO resets weekly.  When I travel, I have a dedicated AC charge adapter for my Versa charger and it goes into a wall or desk AC socket. ZERO's every time. Tried it at home and now I'm seeing ZERO's every morning.

Is the Versa connecting to home wireless to sync and re-ZERO? or is it based on a 24 hour timer on the Versa FW?  I would like to think there is not a connection between the USB and the Versa thinking it is connected to PC? - can the Versa talk to SW on a PC via Cable?

Has anyone else observed this?

I hope your not directly connecting your tracker to the AC, you really want a USB charging brick.

If your versa is set to connect to a local wifi, it will do so what we charging. At this tomorrow me the watch will update any apps, and music from Pandora and Deezer.

So whether it connects to wifi will have to do if the versa has been setup to connect to wifi in the location that the tracker has been charging.

As for charging I don't think it matters how the tracker is charged.

Some have noticed a failure the reset steps occasionally happen when other trackers are turned off. I have not seen this reported with the Versa or the ionic.

Just as a follow up, for once my Versa is resetting daily.

I charge using AC via a regulated adapter.

There is a bug in this device.
