I like the idea of a silent alarm to replace alarm clock so to not disturb wife 's sleep. But website says alarm vibrates and lights up. Can it be set to just vibrate? Is the vibration as loud and buzzy as cell phone vibrate?
Can I buy a replacement battery when the first one fails to hold a charge?
Can I operate a versa to count my steps, display heart rate, set silent alarm (with no lighting up) and adjust time without having to communicate with a smart phone, PC, or any other electronic device? From what I see in this forum, communication with other devices is blotchy and requires periodic updates. I just want an appliance -not a hobby. I am OK with manually logging INFO I care about.
sorry for any weird wording or odd capitals the device I am pec king on keeps replacing my words with different ones. Something else to hunt down and disable.

Let's start from the fact you will not be able to set up and use Versa at all without mobile device. But, if you set up (link with Fitbit account and download firmware update), in theory you could see the stats for a given day but would not be able to adjust time. Actually time displayed by Versa will become more and more inaccurate as the tracker requires periodic syncs.

Well if you do not want to see stats and trends then perhaps a pedometer would be better. I'm not trying to be mean just honest. If you do not want advanced tracker and smartwatch features (which require phone or computer connection) then no point getting Versa.

no worries. Sorry for bolding the font but too lazy to edit html in my mobile browser.
