Pre-existing calories entries

I bought the FitBit Versa a few days ago and created a FitBit account. Although the account is very new I see daily entries for burnt calories on my Android 9 smartphone back to 2017 - always showing "1846 calories".

Looking at the calories on the FitBit app on my Windows 10 notebook, these data only go back a few weeks and even differ slightly.

How can I delete these data?

As well as tracking calories burned through activity your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings for age, height, weight etc so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them.

If you look at a date in the past, before you started with fitbit, it will calculate the total BMR calories for that day.

I'm afraid I can't explain why you see different numbers on different devices but can say that you can't remove this data and just have to ignore it.
