Hi. I have a problem. I used to have an Alta HR & Charge 2. When I got my Versa, I liked it so much that I decided to sell the Alta HR & Charge 2. Since the Charge 3 has come out, I've wanted to try it. I ordered it the other day and just received it today. When I went to add it to my account, it asked if I wanted to switch from my Versa to the Charge 3. While it's updating, I went to the website to check things out. I see my Versa is now removed. I looked at the help about multiple Fitbits and I see you can't have Charge 3 & Versa connected to the account at the same time. I'm extremely disappointed by this. I haven't even tried the Charge 3 on yet to see how I like it. It's also not my usual rose gold, I got the special edition white/graphite because I liked the look of it. I still want to keep my Versa as it's only about 7 months old and I have multiple bands for it...and I do really like it. So now I'm wondering how easy it's going to be to switch back & forth between them?? Anyone have any experience with doing this?
I can understand why Fitbit doesn't allow two of the same exact devices on the same account. Which I would have liked to have had two Versa's. My original one was silver/gray and then I bought the rose gold/peach. I was going to keep the silver/gray as an emergency backup but gave it to my husband. I just don't understand why two different Fitbits can't be used on the same account. There's got to be a way they can fix this.

Catastrophic data corruption doing this. Avoid doing this at all costs.

all until it cutouts your data that one time and you loose 5 years worth of data. It’s not a solution.

Oh no! I just got a Versa 2 yesterday but didn't intend to give up my Charge 3. Wanted the Versa for more dressy occasions and the Charge 3 for sleeping, treadmill, etc. I have had 2 Fitbits on my account in the past so I did not realize this was not going to be possible. Very disappointed also~

Yes, it's sad to see that this thread has a so-called solution! I just put in a feature suggestion on that board so please vote for it! (edit: Later I saw there already was one, but from a long time ago.. they will probably merge mine with that one.. either way please vote!)

will this issue ever be resolved ?
i purchased the Charge 3 and then the Versa
I was never told that I couldn’t use the same account. Now whenever I switch watches, I have to go through the entire process of adding a watch. This is a real pain. I like having options, I’m disappointed FitBit didn’t think people would purchase two different watches.
I was a Polar watch owner prior, I may be returning.
