Problem adding Versa to exiting Android App

Hi, I have a Fitbit Flex2 which I've used successfully since April 2017, I've upgraded to a new Fitbit Versa which I was looking to set up on a Samsung Android phone which already has the app downloaded on it. On the account screen I select 'Set up a Device'  and then 'Add a new Device'  I'm then looking to add The Versa Fitbit Tracker, moving to the next screen I then select 'Set up your Fitbit Versa' option, I have a momentary 'waiting twirl' and then returned to the account screen with nothing happening. I've watched a number of 'how to' you tube' videos, as the instructions contained in the box it came in are scant at best. I really would like to avoid losing my historical data from my Flex 2, what options do I have? I appreciate that I may not be able to have two devices on the account. My PC does not have Bluetooth and I should be able to do all this via my phone without having to either wait or purchase additional items for my PC. Any help offered is welcome - cheers!

It isnt the fact that the flex 2 is already on the account. The Versa and Flex 2 should share the account happily. Yo nsay you have a samsung phone, but not which one. Is it on the Supported Devices List ?  The Versa is a more advanced tracker than the flex 2 and  if the phone is not fully compatable then it is likely to work for the simpler flex 2 but perhaps not for the Versa.

Hi Nelly, its a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT19505 running Android 5.0.1. I've managed to add the device to Bluetooth on the phone and after updating the software through app store it now lets me get as far as accepting the licnce agreement, but then can't find the device on blue tooth! I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a Bluetooth adapter, they're not as expensive as I thought they might have been!
