Please, release a walkthrough or instructions to allow users to factory reset their watch. If it is not information you want to publicise, please make a post that instruct us to contact the customer service.
The goal is to let users know there is still a step to go after the hard reset and the tips from the fitbit website.

Hi @Samaritain - quite a good idea but generally if the watch is not working as it should it may need some more investigation by support who can provide the instructions to factory reset with the button, if useful or necessary, and follow it through to a successful conclusion.
There is always a risk in doing a factory reset which can kill the watch if it is not done properly, or perhaps sometimes even if it is with the menu option. It should be considered as a last resort and the customer should be made aware of it.
Even so, if you troll the internet you may find various proposals of what to do.

Thank you @Odyssey13 for you comment.
However, I'm refering to the factory reset when you don't have access to the fitbit. (for context, I had an issue where it was stuck in a booting loop).
So the support gave me instruction to reset the watch using the watch "button". (When to press, for how long etc.)
Hope that helps the clarity of the suggestion.
