RED X Data not cleared tried EVERYTHING

I've tried everything on every forum....when I hold button down immediately the X comes back I could throw this da%* thing across the room!

It means the watch has been factory reset and needs to be installed again

 

In the phone's Bluetooth forget or unpair the device

 

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Click on remove icon [top right]

Restart the watch

Click + Set up a device

Follow the installation instructions
