I cannot get text notifications on my Versa if I use Message+ app. If I switch to Whatsapp, notifications work on my Versa. But not many of contacts use WhatsApp. Does anyone else use Message+ for texting? If so, does it work with your Versa?

I am having the exact same issue. Was receiving text notifications fine until the latest firmware update. Since then, not 1 text notification has come through. I too have done every step mentioned in the troubleshooting list, nothing has worked. I am also using the Message+ app on a Verizon LG V20, I tried to switch back to the regular Message app but my phone won't let me. I really hope that this glitch is fixed fast!

I am not receiving any text notifications.
I bought this watch from best buy and it stated in the details & spec that it has Facebook and Twitter. But how to install it?

Sorry, typo. I switched messaging apps. I changed to Google messages (because I knew Google apps we're working with other notifications) and now I receive texts on my versa.

I have the exact same situation! Using S7edge and the Special Edition Versa and getting all other notifications from apps and calls, but no texts. I even switched to the standard samsung message app instead of using the verizon message+ app as suggested on this forum, however that did not work either! I truly do not understand as I had a Pebble brand smartwatch and this was never an issue and Fitbit acquired Pebble. For that reason I purchased the Versa thinking it would work seamlessly like the Pebble however with more in-depth fitness tracking and a more stylish look. I hope they figure this out soon! The one thing I have not tried is logging out and uninstalling the verizon message+ app from all my devices (cell, tablet and laptop) and then testing out text notifications. I just don't see why this would be necessary -- again citing the Pebble technology owned by Fitbit had no issue with the message+ app. Please let me know which texting app you've tried. Thanks! Good Luck to us all!

@AlejandraFitbit any update on this issue? Is it a known issue or is there a fix we are all missing? Thank you.

On another thread I saw where this issue has been sent to the developers so they can get to work on it. Someone mentioned downloading an app called Fitbit Notifications, so I downloaded it, followed the set up instructions and am now getting my text messages on the Versa. Give that a try until they get the glitch fixed on their end.

Thank you for the suggestion about using the Fit Notifications app. I set that up, and so far, it seems to be working and letting me get my Message+ texts on my Versa. I still hope Fitbit fixes the issue soon, though. It seems quite silly to have to use a third-party app to get something like this to work.

I agree, they need to fix it and fast so we dont have to use a 3rd party app, though I am grateful that its there so that we have something at least. Yea, I read that the sound has to be on and that its a relatively new thing with this particular app.

Thank you so much for this workaround!!!
I've wasted most of the day messing with this issue. So frustrated.

Is it the Fit Notifications (for Fitbit) by Smart Dinosaurs Entertainment on the Google Play Store?

Hello all, I hope you are doing fine.
Thanks for your patience about this, I can see that most of you are Android users and I would like to know if you have check if your Fitbit app is updated? If you haven't checked this, please take a look at the How do I update the Fitbit app for Android? post and follow the instructions provided. After updating your app, restart your phone and test your notifications.
Let me know the outcome.
