Racing Heart Rate on Versa even when not wearing

Hello!

I have owned a Versa for almost two years. It’s been great!

Three days ago I noticed it was showing I was burning more calories. (Yay, right?) But I wasn’t doing anything different.
I watch my sleep patterns and my heart rate and noticed those had changed. Sleep was no longer showing details, just the hours. Heart rate was outta site 180-190 when I’m sleeping or sitting!

It would be normal 60 and then gradually spike to over 100.
This is also draining my battery fast!
-Heart monitor spikes even when it’s not on my wrist

-cleaned it several times

-restarted several times

Although, I am loving the extra calories it says I’m burning, I need a solution to get my Versa back to doing its job.

Thanks all!

Hi again,

since writing this post, the heart rate monitor stopped altogether, the stepper stopped counting, And the hourly reminder doesn’t activate either.
what does work is the watch, alarm, and phone syncing.
Support says I’m out of warranty, so I’m not getting any help with recovering my watches’ basic functions.
However, my loyalty is worth a 25% coupon on another watch.
Not today, I’m unhappy with the failed technical assistance and the Fitbit Versa.
Good luck to whoever reads this looking for a solution.
