I bought a Versa 3 in October last year, it seemed to have issues with holding charge from the very beginning and eventually struggled to hold charge for a day.
I contacted Fitbit about this and they have sent me a replacement, a refurbished replacement. I get a manufacturer’s 2 year guarantee , and they send me a refurbished one that has a 3 month warranty.
Does this override the initial 2 years? Am I now left with just a 3 month warranty after only having the product for not even 5 months? This seems like it would violate laws here in the UK, does anyone know where I stand legally as I’m not very happy!

Hi @SabrinaC78 might help if you read the official Fitbit information on returns and warranty. click to read. From what I've learned on the forums, when your claim is processed, you're sent the color/size of the device based on what is in stock in the warehouse at that time. Sometimes it is a refurbished unit, but those supposedly have been inspected before being sent out.

@SabrinaC78 Normally you would get the remainder of your original warranty, or the 3 Months. Which ever is longer. Would think you are fine. You could probably contact support to ease your mind.

Welcome to the Community, @SabrinaC78. @Odyssey13 and @MarkMM Thanks for stopping by to help our member.
@SabrinaC78 Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and I'm sorry for the issues experienced with your Versa 3. As it was mentioned before, let me explain that depending on available inventory and based on our Warranty Policy, our team might send a factory-certified refurbished product as a replacement. These are typically products that were returned to Fitbit unused, and were tested and determined to work like new.
I understand your concern and you can always get back to our Support team if you have a question about your case or replacement device. For any warranty-related inquiry, please check our warranty policies here.
