Receiving notifications while phone is in "Do Not Disturb" mode-Versa

This is exactly my situation. I have a Pixel 2 XL that I keep on my desk at work, put into Do Not Disturb mode automatically during my work hours. I'm not always at my desk though and I don't want to be always fumbling with my phone to see if I have any notifications, so I'd still like my watch to buzz. I have owned numerous smartwatches in the past and they have been able to somehow bypass this, but this has not been the case for my new Versa (my first 'watch-like' Fitbit). At work is when I need to know about my notifications the most, so this is very disappointing.

I just want to let you know that I have moved your post from the Blaze board to the Versa board, where I think you can find more answer regarding this tracker. 

It's weird to hear that you are receiving notifications while your phone is in "Do not disturb" mode. Keep in mind that you can enable the Do Not Disturb mode from your Versa clock screen by holding the back button and then swipe to the shortcuts screen. Have you tried this? If you haven't, I recommend trying it.

Let me know the outcome.

I'm sorry, this was supposed to be a reply to someone in a a different topic, I don't know how it got to be it's own thread 😕 please feel free to close it, I don't seem to be able to do it myself.

My issue is that my Versa DOES respect Do Not Disturb and I wish it didn't, since I would still like to receive notifications even if my phone is in silent mode during work hours.

Thanks for the update @SolidCake90 and for the clarification.

It would be good to have an option for the tracker to buzz at the moment of receiving notifications even if your phone is in "Do not disturb" mode. I took the liberty and searched for a request like this but didn't any, feel free to visit our feature suggestions board and share your ideas.

Just in case anyone else is looking/interested there are a few suggestions on the feature suggestions boards for this. Please vote on them if you feel it's a good idea. 

• This seems to be the most active/one others get merged into. It says Ionic but given they use the same OS should apply to the Versa too - Ionic: enable notifications on watch even when Android phone is on silent/do not disturb

• This is one tagged for the Versa - Watch should still vibrate for notification while phone is on do-not-distrub mode
