Receiving texts on Versa without previewing on Android lock screen?

I don't want my text messages to preview on my Galaxy S8 lock screen, but I would like the option of reading texts on my Versa. From everything I'm finding, the only way to see texts on Versa is to allow lock screen previews. Is there any way around this?

As far as I am aware, no there isnt. It is just the way the phone works.
