Recently bought Versa 2 doesn't want to update

I got my new Versa 2 yesterday and I was able to set it up. However, it didn't set up with the most recent fitbit firmware and the update icon does not appear in the fitbit app. I tried updating it from the computer and tried restarting the app and the update icon still doesn't appear. Should I just wait, since it is newly bought or what should I do?

Have patience, grasshopper.  The update will come.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
