This morning my Versa recorded my first 2 flights of stairs and then it stopped. I probably have done 20 flights and still only slowing 2. Everything else seems to be working fine. I have reset it multiple times

Your versa tracks floors by detecting changes in air pressure through a small hole in the back of the tracker. If this becomes blocked in some way it can cause floor tracking to stop. Try gently cleaning it with, say, an old toothbrush or perhaps a can of compressed air.

All I can suggest is that you contact customer support. If they can't fix it they can check your warranty status and advise on your options. You can get to them via: contact.fitbit.com

I contacted Fitbit and haven't heard from them yet.
