Red light on back stays on causing battery to drain

Here we go again!!!  I don’t intend to be rude, however, I have been a Fitbit wearer for several years now long enough to have invested the monies spent on multiple Fitbit devices into stock.  I am on my 6th Fitbit device that always ends with thhe same thing.  BATTERY DRAINING.  I started with the Charge 2 (I’ve had two); Charge 3 (I’ve had three); and took the option for a coupon to purchase the Versa Lite believing I would get different results.  I am now having problems again with the battery draining, not even holding charge a full day, and the red light on the back of the watch staying on.  I know the routines by hard and have done them all.  I’ve fully charged the device, turned off the Heart rate; kept track of the percentages every so many minutes, dimmed the lite, even going as far as a Factory reset to no avail.  I am past my warranty, but I would just like some help in keeping my Versa working more than a year and a half.  These watches are very expensive and Fitbit needs to do better with these batteries.  This has gotten old and if it cannot be fixed I will not buy another Fitbit.  Apple Watch here I come!   Can you please HELP solve this problem once and for all?  I rely on my device for health reasons.
