I called the customer service number from the app, 8776234997. It did take a few minutes to get a rep, but they did answer. If it helps, i called at 10 til 7, eastern standard time.

How did they resolve your problem?

Not resolved yet. They asked me to do a battery test. I sent them the start and finish times 3 days ago but haven’t heard anything back at this point.

No resolve for me either, just an offer for 25% off a new one. No thanks! This has been very poorly handled apparently.

The last few days my Fitbit has not been tracking my heart rate or steps. Syncing has been an issue as well. Eventually My red light stayed and battery dying fast. I have done all the troubleshooting steps and nothing seems to work.

I have the same issue and this is on the replacement versa of the last one that just stopped working for me, altogether. This one is now giving me a blank screen and a red light. Such a waste because it was replaced in September 2019, and it’s not even a year later! I think these are not really swim proof like they claim. We all need to get our money back ASAP!

Mine is doing the same thing battery draining fast, now the red light on the back is on and it keeps dropping steps. What the heck, I don't even have the heart monitor on? So I have turned off and restarted it yesterday! Now yhis am same thing had 500 plus steps then it went to 72 and flickered??? What a drag!! So now I need to find out when I purchased it and take it from there. This is my 5th fitbit product that I have bought, I have given 2 away, lost one and still have my old alta!

Update: The issue appears to be a problem with the battery. But since my Fitbit is out of warranty and they say there’s no way to replace the battery, there’s nothing I can do. They offered me a 25% discount off a new one. The frustrating part is that with the Father’s Day sale right now, new Fitbits are already 25% off and you can’t combine discounts. So they basically offered me nothing. Ridiculous.

Not going to work if the whole thing literally won't turn on...

I'm also experiencing the red light issue. Has there been a firmware update ? Too coincidental that so many are experiencing the same issue at the same time.. I've owned 3 fitbit devices and after the Versa no find my phone feature was never addressed by the company, I was already considering going with another product. This may be the straw that sends me to Samsung

Mine is doing the same. Fully charged. I’ve shut it down. I did a reset. I also shut the heart monitor off. Waited. Turned back on. This red light doesn’t is bright and doesn’t go away. I have the Fitbit Versa. Got in Nov 2018. I use this daily. I need this watch to function.

I have had the same issue. This is my 2nd Versa. I was offered a 25% off a versa light. I purchased a brand new one to replace it. Had the exact same issue, it says it can be in water then it begins to malfunction after being in water. I changed it fully, reset, then it just continues to cut itself on and off showing only the fitbit start up screen. There's something wrong if this many people experience the same problem and from the thread it appears this has happened multiple times to most of it. Its very disappointing for such a well known brand to continue making products with these problems. It is also frustrating when you find a product that is so easy to work with except with it comes to problems. Any suggestions on a different watch to try?
