Have no clue why but the reminder of how many steps I have left to reach 250 per hour or the "you did it" no longer works on my Fitbit Versa

Hi @Sharonmidwest, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that the reminders to move no longer work on your Fitbit Versa. Thank you for your efforts to resolve the issue. I recommend confirming the settings of your reminders to move and refresh the reminders by turning them off and on

I also recommend restarting your watch as described in this help article. This will refresh your device internally.

Let me know how it goes.

No luck with the Restart, or any of the other suggestions. The green light on the underside of my Versa no longer works either, could that be a possible reason?

Hi @Sharonmidwest, thank you for your reply.

I appreciate your time and efforts. I would like to confirm that we’re aware of the issue with reminders to move and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible. I appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to improve your experience.

I understand your concern regarding the green light no longer working on the underside of your device and would like to confirm if your heart rate is being tracked when you wear your Fitbit Versa? If you don't see your heart rate on your device, please check the steps from this help article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? This article may contain the steps you tried already, but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

I'll be around.

Hello,

No, the heartbeat notification went out about the same time as my notification to "walk". The only thing I see when I open up that area of my Versa is "--".

Thank you for the update, @Sharonmidwest

I appreciate the additional details. Since the issue persists, I recommend doing a factory reset. Please note that you'll need to reinstall any apps on your device after the reset, and if you couldn’t sync your device, then any data on the Fitbit device will be lost. In order to do the factory reset, please follow the steps from this help article: How do I erase my Fitbit device? After that please open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and unpair the watch from the list. Then, please set up the watch back to your account with the instructions on this link: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Please keep me posted.

Hello,

I have also the same issue as many of users here. I have got Versa 2.

Checked if notifications to remind are on , done ( not working )

Restart device - done ( not working )

Factory reset and new setup - done ( worked only 1 day )

Result = remind still not work

Can u help me how to enable it to work properly ? The main reason why i bought these Versa 2 is to remind me to move in my office work and im dissapointed with them now.

Thank you

Michal

Ok, no reply from Fitbit staff, so maybe this can lots of people helps

After many tryies according readings here include :

Several watches restart, checked if notifications are on, factory reset, aplication reinstall - all these steps were unsuccesfull. Im sure, that there is mistake in SW.

For completing of this info, i have Apple Iphone 11 pro Max with ios 13.2.3.

After playing with watches i have founded, that if you scroll up, so you see todays activities and go down to " steps this hour --> go right to see actual progress " then the remindering starts again to work.

Just testing this for several hours now, i will see next day if it will start....

I hope, that this can help to somebody and also to the Development engineers in Fitbit to repaire this failure, that makes lots of people really unsatisfy with this watches 🙂

Enjoy !!!
