Repeat Notifications over and over

Whenever I get a new notification (usually an email through my iPhone 8’s mail app) on my Versa it resends all of my old notifications. Versa version 32.32.10.15, iPhone fully up-to-date. 

For example, I’ll get an email in the morning, then unless I mark it as read on my phone, the next notification (either mail or calendar) it will send me a notification for that first email and the new notification. Then the next email/calendar item, I will get a notification on my Versa of the first to items as well as this new one and so on and so on. 

I’ve restarted my Versa, my phone. Checked all notifications and I still don’t get it. This isn’t a feature is it?

Just got a new email and my Versa has now buzzed 21 times for the 21 emails that I have as marked unread.... maybe this is why my battery only lasts two days..... 😞

Just got off the phone with FitBit. “This is a feature of the Versa. Until you clear the messages, email or notifications from your phone, it will continue to remind you of them.” 

Who thought this this was a good idea? I get an average of 100 emails a day. Can you imagine if our cell phones did that? Every time you got a new email, it rang for all of the other emails that you haven’t answered yet? It should be one single notification per item. FIX THIS PLEASE!

Howdy! Any update on if FitBit intends to fix this? I can’t imagine this being an attractive or useful feature. I intend to turn off mail notifications if it continues, which would be a disappointment and indicate a lack of satisfaction in the Versa product.

I too have been seeing this issue for about a month. There are emails that I deleted from my iPhone ages ago that keep showing up on my Versa. And yes I have cleared all messages on Versa many times.

How about it Fitbit? This is annoying.

Ridiculous. Repeat texts over and over.

Other than being light and with a better battery than my Samsung Gear S2 ,this fitbit versa is a waste for me. I will probably not be buying FitBit in the future.
