Repeated calendar notifications on Fitbit Versa

Hello,

I keep getting iPhone google calendar event reminders on my Fitbit versa for the same event about 5 minutes apart. I will get 7-10 notifications anywhere from 40min before or 20 min into the event. It will tell me to “leave in 23 min due to light traffic” before, during and after my commute to the event. I love getting calendar reminders, but I don’t need to be constantly reminded for 40 min about the event. How do I fix this issue?

Let me help you with your Calendar notifications repeating on your Versa. Check your calendar event and see if it isn't set to notify you "all day". This may be what it is causing this issue. You can check more about notifications here.

In the iPhone, how would an event be set to notify you “all day”? My events are set to notify either “5 minutes before” or “at time of the event.” On the rare occasion it’s set to notify me when it’s “time to leave.” In every notification setting, I will get a million notifications before, at, during and AFTER the event.

I agree. I set specific times to be reminded of calendar events and my Versa pings me every 5 minutes for a long time. How can we just get one notification? Are we expected to acknowledge the first notification in some way?

I started clicking and then clearing the notification on my Fitbit but I would still constantly get more notifications for the same event.

I am trying to find out if there has been a fix for the issue of repeat notifications from calendar events me and my wife are regularly woken up by this and it is not what I purchased the watch for!!!
