Replacement of non-swim-proof Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This is my 4th post in 4 days and each one has been completely ignored by Fitbit. My Versa died after swimming with it. It's only 14 months old. I was promised it was swim-proof or would not have worn it swimming. I've done the research, and this is clearly a HUGE known issue. I've been bragging on Fitbit and basically selling them for you for 7 years. With the 5 devices I purchased. Someone needs to contact me today about my replacement or I'm done. There are too many other devices out there to continue spending my money on a company who has clearly forgotten that customer loyalty is what keeps them in business.

Unfortunately, fitbit's customer support do not monitor these forums - they are intended for us users to help each other where we can. In this case we can't do much for you. You would do better to contact customer support direct via contact.fitbit.com

Thank you for your reply, but actually, I have seen several responses in here from customer support.  I did call them and have chatted with them. I was told when I called that they pay very close attention to what is said in this forum. And aside from that other users deserve to know this device is not actually swim proof and that Fitbit will not stand behind it.

This is certainly a good place to share your story and I've seen a few posts from others who have had the same issues.

The people you see posting here from fitbit (they have "fitbit" in their username) are the moderators. As well as moderating the forums they help out where they can but they not part of technical support and when they can't help then they can get you in touch with customer support.

The important thing is that you have been in contact with the support team as they are the only people who can help. If you are not happy with their response all I can suggest - apart from sharing your story here - is to get back to them.

I have used every medium they have you reach out. I have gotten nothing but insincere apologies and an offer of a discount if I spend more money with them. Which they flat out told me they're certain I will since I have bought 5 over the last 7 years. And by the way this time spend even more money for the extra warranty. I'm not a newbie. I've been one of Fitbit's biggest advocates for 7 years. I've beta tested multiple features. Their customer service has taken a nosedive.
