Ever since the latest update to the firmware, my Versa keeps resetting during the middle of my workouts. Extremely frustrating - is anyone else having this issue? Is there a solution that I've missed?

Can I ask what the fix was as I am getting the same issue.
I set the fitbit to manually log my cross trainer exercising, about a minute or 2 in the fitbit resets

Yes i am experiencing the same problem on my versa after the latest firmware update.
It randomly restart the watch showing the fitbit logo. Sometimes the watch is unable to read my heart rate in the middle of a workout too.
No such problem when using the previous firmware.

@carll and @Feng - I was able to resolve it myself, but it did not come from my discussion with the support team. All they said was that they were aware of the issue and working on it.
What worked for me is to simply reset the Versa Fitbit. The simple process of holding the left button at the same time as the lower right button until it reboots (and you see the screen go blank and then the Fitbit logo appear). Once I did that 2 days ago, I have trained twice since then with no resetting during the sessions at all. Give it a shot - I have had no problems since then.

Scratch my earlier answer. It failed again, resetting itself during a run just this afternoon.
This is still a problem, and unfortunately the technician I spoke to on chat indicated that there is no way to switch back to the prior version of firmware. I really hope the update with the fix is coming soon, and that in the future, they do a better job of testing these firmware updates before rolling them out.

Hi
I have tried a factory reset followed by the normal watch reset (holding the left button at the same time as the lower right button until it reboots (and you see the screen go blank and then the Fitbit logo appear). ) to no avail, the watch still crashes 2 minutes into a manual setting of an exercise (elliptical/cross trainer)
Regards
Carl.

I used a Windows laptop to restore my Versa and the previous firmware version was installed.

I have a windows laptop, too. How did you move yours back to the prior version of the firmware?

I did a factory reset on the watch itself, and then deleted and set up the watch as a new device in the Windows 10 app. The whole process took a little over an hour to complete.

Has a resolution to this issue been identified? My Fitbit Versa continually resets during tracked workouts; this started approximately 3 weeks ago and has worsened over the weeks. In addition, the screen freezes on a regular basis. I have reset the Fitbit at least a dozen times to no avail.

I have now given up with my Versa. The constant resets during exercise, the ongoing problems syncing to many different Android mobiles (though my wife and her iphone are fine) I am afraid but I have invested in a Samsung Galaxy watch and have not looked back. Not a single issue syncing or resetting. To those that remain with Fitbit I wish you well to a speedy resolution to this issue.
