Ring Doorbell notifications not working on my Versa 3

There is still no integration with the notifications from the Amazon ring doorbell.

This can be integrated, as it has been on every other watch/tracker that I have owned.

Can this be sorted?

Hi there, @TrickyDee. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. 

Have you verified if the Ring Doorbell app is also updated to the latest version? 

I'd recommend trying the steps below in the order listed even if some of them you've already attempted:

1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile's picture > Versa 3.
2. Tap on Notifications > App notification and turn it off for Ring Doorbell.
3. Reboot your phone and restart your Sense.
4. On your Versa 3, swipe right from the clock face on your watch to access quick settings and turn off/on the notifications.
5. Open the Fitbit app and enable the app notifications for Ring Doorbell.
6. Then sync your tracker and test the notifications one more time.

No solution.

There are workarounds using various configurations of Alexa, it's an issue with the ring app apparently.

I guess that as you are Google and Ring are Amazon, we will do well to expect any sort of solution.

Hi @TrickyDee  -  are the notifications that don't appear on the watch, actually appearing on the phone as notifications?

If so and you have an Android phone here is another workaround

Weirdly I had looked at using one of my free macrodroid macros to do just this, this morning.

There are posts over several boards. Is this happening on both iOS and Android? 

It probably has nothing about the tracker.
