Run settings in Exercise app keep resetting

Hi 

I want my Versa to notify me of laps when I run of 1km, whereas default is set to 0.4km. 

 

I have adjusted the lap settings to 1km, but find that every day when I go for a new run, it has reset to 0.4km. 

 

Is there anyway to enature the Versa remembers my setting?

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. Once you have set the lap settings for your run in the Exercise app, the settings should get saved for future exercises. At this moment I would like to suggest you to restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. 

 

After restarting your Versa, go to the Exercise app > Run > Show Laps and select Off. Exit the Exercise app, then open it again and go to Run > Show Laps  and select Automatically. Finally, tap on Automatic Lap Settings and adjust it for 1km, the setting should save for future runs.

 

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello. I’ve had the same problem with my Versa defaulting to 0.4 km cues, despite following your suggestions (twice) exactly as written. Any other thoughts?

My Versa 2 has been doing this lately as well.  I set my automatic lap settings to 0.5 miles and when I go to use it, it is set at 1 mile on my fitbit.  I reset it each time I walk.  I have done the above in restarting etc, including a complete factory reset,,,,still happens.  Interestingly, I have more info that might help the folks at Fitbit figure this out if they are so incllined!   After setting both my Versa 2 and the fitbit app automatic lap for walking to 0.5 miles ( on the selection wheel on the Versa) as well as the app.  after a while, I go to walk and the versa 2 now has my automatic lap at 1 mile.  If I open the app it has my walking lap at 0.99999999 miles, which is not even selectable on either the versa or the app.  When I set it for 0.5 miles per lap and look at the app before it changes to 1 (by itself). the app says..Lap every 0.4999999 ..miles.

 

annoying...would think this would be easy..
