Hi ! I am a new user of the Fitbit Versa 2, when you are running and choose the exercise "running" does your mobile need to be with you to be able to track the Kilometers? as yesterday I tried it for the first time while jogging and it was not connecting and the KM were not updating, has anyone experienced the same problem please? thank you

Hello @Katiepnk

Yes, you need your mobile with you to be able to pull GPS data. This is called Connected GPS.

Alternative you could actually use the settings on your Versa 2 (under Exercise app) to state you don't want to use GPS. In this case the app will estimate your distance measuring the steps and multiply that number for an average stride. If you know your stride you can input manually the value under your profile settings.

I hope this clarifies. You can find some more info at page 44 of the manual
