I've been reporting a problem with the exercise (running) feature stopping and returning to the clock face in the middle of runs for a month now. Each time I've called or chatted fitbit, they told me the engineering team is working on a fix and it will be fixed soon. No estimated time from anyone on the fitbit line of when it will roll out. How is it possible that an engineering company doesn't work to deadlines? I am very disappointed in fitbit because of this experience. I might switch to Garmin based on this. I never had any disconnect issues with my old Forerunner. 😞

Hi, when the next Firmware update will be released only Fitbit knows, we all have to wait for that patiently. I do not have any problems with my Versa with the current release. Just wait and see when it's announced.

I found I had that problem a year ago. (https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Versa-Lite/Versa-exercise-crashing-mid-exercise/m-p/2730020#M2...) My Versa would regularly bomb out of tracking a run and return to the home screen. I found the solution to the problem was to turn off All-Day Sync in the Versa settings in the app. Not had a problem with my versa tracking runs since...

I turned off all day sync and still get the problem. It’s been okay the last few runs so i am waiting to see if it comes back.
