Scratches to the Versa Special Edition Graphite Case?

I am considering the Versa Special Edition (SE) that comes with the graphite case. I like the color, the woven band and Fitbit pay. But, my concern is whether a scratch on the SE case will result in the silver color showing through. If this is likely given the material, then I may be better off getting the base model with the silver aluminum case. Thoughts?

If the silver aluminum case Is scratched, will the silver nevertheless show through albeit less noticeably than the graphite case?

 Not the same device, But I scratched the rose gold aluminum frame of my old Apple Watch. The rose gold color stayed the same throughout

The anodized coating is just a surface coating, therefore any scratches deep enough will show the original colour. How resilient the Versa is to scratches no one knows, although by nature aluminium is a soft material. Personally I stay away from coloured aluminiums, but that is just my own preference. You will have to make that choice for yourself.

Alternatively, I am pretty sure there will be available, on third party vendor sites like Amazon etc, clear scratch-covers. Ones for the Ionic popped up almost as soon as it was released. Not my cup of tea but some go for them.

Your response is helpful. It looks like all the cases are painted and, therefore, all cases can get and show scratches; it’s just that deep scratches revealing the aluminum will show less with the silver case. That all said, I do like the graphite case plus I want the NFC chip.  I put on a screen protector and hope for the best with respect to the case. Thanks.

I've had my versa for less than a week and mine is scratched already . I'm a homemaker so I don't do crazy work with my hands .I'm not happy it's damaged already . I can't even associate the damage with anything . I'd say it's very delicate ... uggh

I bought one of those cover for the face and it does a good job protecting the face but you have to take it off every time you want to charge it because with it on, it’s too bulky to fit flush in the charger. So that means every charge I have to take the bands and cover off. It can be bothersome to keep doing that.
