Screen appears to be frozen Versa 2

Hi, 

my Versa 2 is only 6 weeks old. It is fully charged and recently updated but the screen now appears to flicker through various actions without me touching it. The time is now incorrect when the clock face appears for a couple of seconds then either completely blacks out out the Fitbit logo appears. Either way, I am unable to use. 
can anyone help with some actual working tips? I’ve tried the process recommended on another post ( it appears that user is experiencing the same thing) and there is no improvement.

Before considering other options, make sure that you've tried the restart procedure as described in this article
