For about two weeks my display would sometimes work and sometimes not. Often times I’d have to push a button to get it to work because it wouldn’t light up when I’d hold my arm up. Sometimes it did nothing. Other times it would make a grayish light.
Earlier this week it wouldn’t do anything. No display at all. There are red and green lights active on the back. I’ve tried restarting it via instructions found on the column. I’ve tried charging it for a full 24 hours. It tracks my heart rate etc via my phone, so it is working, but I can’t track workouts or see the time or use any other function because the display isn’t always black.
It was purchased in August, so is fairly new.

Hi, first the simplest solution: press and hold the left button and the activity scren will popup and there your can see if display waking up is set to automatically or manual. In the last case, press it and it will change to automatic.
Secondly, are you using a Third party clockface? If yes, install a Clock Face by Fitbit itself, choose the one of you liking and restart your Versa.
Thirdly, if these do not help, contact Customer Support.
