I got my watch for Christmas and only occasionally wear it for runs. For no reason at all the screen started spazing out. It flickers and the exercise options all overlap so it looks like a jumble of letters. Tried resetting and it is still flickering ... like an old school TV with a hanger for an antenna. 6months! Never once wet, not a scratch on it. HELP

Mine is doing so.ilar things. Mostly after swimming. It's a Versa that is supposed to be water resistant to a certain depth & I'm in a pool no deeper than 1.5 meters.

I have never gotten mine even wet. Other than perspiration perhaps. I don't swim, I am like a rock, and I take it off before showering.

I have the versa 2. It was a Christmas gift, I've taken good care of it and a couple of days ago, started with the same issue. Reset does nothing. It's frustrating to say the least.
By any chance prior to this issue, were you getting spammed with the upgrade to premium offers? I was. I'm just wondering if refusing the upgrade has caused the issue.

To reset the versa 2, you hold the side button in for 10 seconds, it will automatically reset x

Thank you for replying, I'm sort of happy I'm not the only one with the screen issue, let's hope we can get them fixed or replaced ASAP x

My fitbit started flickering yesterday also. Can't be a coincidence.

I got mine in march 2020. the screen is all jumbled up like you said and I can't even switch it off. would you mind sharing how to reset it?

Great description, mine literally in the last ten mins just started freaking out. I can't see anything but fuzz and lines in mine. I can't even see to try and restart.

Mine did it too yesterday. Still logging my steps but I can't see anything other than a few lines. I contacted support and since I'm a week outside of my warranty, all they can do is offer a discount to purchase new one. I have yet to have one last longer than a year.

To rest the versa 2 just hold the side button for around 10 seconds and it will restart. I'm unsure if it's the same for all models x

I call BS! This has to be their problem, there is no way all of our fitbits started flickering at the same time and coincidently it has nothing to do with them. It has to be a problem on their end, why else are wait times longer than usual!

Running into the same issue, began after this last update. Yesterday?
Received as a gift this past June, it will not restart nor link to my app. I thought it may have had something to do with those 3rd party watch faces but I can't sync to change it. I've let the battery run out and attempted to recharge without any change. I can't even get past the static storm and the dark line that continually scrolls down until it goes dark.
