I got my FitBit Versa Special Edition in late December, early January. I used it up until the second week of February, when I thought I lost it. Turns out I had it in the box (the only place I didn’t look!). When I found it today, I attempted to charge it. The battery was lasting about one day on average with minimal use, but I honestly thought that was normal. I never bothered to look into how long it was supposed to last. This was my first “smart watch” and it was a present from my parents. Anyway, the screen remained solid black and would flash the lock screen every so often, but the screen in general wasn’t working. I couldn’t slide to do things and I couldn’t open stuff. There are absolutely no cracks that are visible, but I took it into a screen repair shop to see what they could do, and they said there was no way in hell to fix it. The guy at the shop told me it was definitely a manufacturer error, seeing as how the screen was lifting itself off of the underside of the pebble! I only used it for about six weeks... never once dropped it or anything. I emailed Customer Support just a little bit ago.. does anybody know what I should expect? I don’t have the $70-$80 to spend on a new pebble, not that I’d trust buying one for eBay anyway. And I certainly don’t have $230 to replace my current watch!
