Hi @Jeffadam81
See Page 74 of the user manual - click to see
Non operating temperature is 140f and operating temperature is 113f.
How hot is the hair dryer or whatever you need to use? You don't want to invalidate the warranty.
Thank you so much for your reply, please could you explain the difference between the Operating Temperature and non operating? Thanks.
Best Answer@Jeffadam81 it seems that operating would be actively tracking an activity and non-operating would be not using it.
Maybe a moderator will be by to let us know a more precise definition.

Awesome help @SunsetRunner and @Odyssey13!
Welcome to the Forums @Jeffadam81! Before making any alteration to your Versa, please take a look to our Warranty Policies.
Keep in mind that our warranty does not apply to a Product or part of a Product that has been serviced, altered, refurbished, or modified by anyone who is not authorized by Fitbit.
Regarding your question about the operating and non-operating temperature, the "operating temperature" is the temperature range in which the device should function as expected. The "non-operating temperature" range would be where we might expect the device to fail because it's too cold or too hot. I hope this helps to clarify a little further.
Catch you later! 🙂
Thank you all for responding to my request. I contacted the customer support and they cleared that the Fitbit versa can still function normally with temperature up to 120 F.
