Set timezone without app

I would like to be able to set the timezone on my Versa without having to use the Fitbit app. There are occasions when travelling and a sync is inconvenient or impossible (eg no mobile data access). Can this be provided as a manual setting on the device itself? Alternatively could the Versa sync timezone with the phone in the background when a change is detected?

Hey @FMF99, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! To set the timezone on each Fitbit device, you need to go to the Fitbit app to select the one you want, and then sync your Versa to save those changes. Maybe you can request that this can be done through the Versa itself, by posting it on our Feature Suggestions board. 

If you're traveling between time zones with your tracker, what it can be done, is avoiding data loss. To do so, try the following. Note that the time on your tracker may not update to reflect the time in your new time zone.

1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon 
2. Tap Advanced Settings.
3. Under Time Zone, turn off the Set Automatically option.
4. Tap Time Zone and select the correct time zone.

I'm asking for a new feature that would allow the user to set the timezone directly on the watch (Versa) without having to sync with the Fitbit app on a mobile device. This is needed, for example, when:
1. Travelling (to a new timezone) without a phone
2. Travelling with a phone in Flight mode (to display the correct time in-flight)
3. No Wi-Fi or mobile data is available, which may prevent sync

Is this currently possible or being considered for a future firmware release?

Thanks for your reply @FMF99! By now, we have no updates about this feature to be implemented in the future. I think it would be a good addition, but our team has not mentioned anything about it. So as I mentioned, you can go to our Feature Suggestions board and post this idea there, so our team can take a look at it.
