Set up for Fitbit Pay but my bank isn’t supported. Now it asks for PIN when I use Apple Pay

I got my versa yesterday and quickly set it up. Didn’t realise my bank wasn’t supported until after I’d set up the pay function. 

Now it vibrates and asks for my pin every time I use my contactless payment on my iPhone (which I do frequently). Can anyone help me disassociate my pay function? I’ve deleted the wallet but no joy!

It's not something I've done but according to the following thread you do this via the app:

Thanks Steve. Seems I have the same problem as that OP. The official advice tells them how to change their PIN but not how to remove it. Further down the chain someone confirms it’ll need a total reset to get rid of it.
