Hello,

My Fitbit Versa is traking my HR even if it is on a table and I am not wearing it.

The green light is on and it shows 72btm

Thank you!

@Userici This is quite normal. If Versa can "see" any surface especially reflective one, it can get confused. To avoid this problem, I place by tracker on the side or belly up. 🙂 The sensor lights go off immediately.

@Marrrmaduke thank you for the answer, but the sensor should indicate the heart rate, how can it be accurate if the sensor measure the heart rate of any surface, even if it isn't reflective.

@Userici The sensor is actually pretty accurate. I had it tested against chest strap. But, as I say there are no things that are perfect. If it stays on your had, it will be pretty accurate. I know it's not what you would like to hear, but I cannot offer bulletproof solution here. 🙂
