Should I upgrade to versa 2?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I currently have a versa, and haven't had tons of problems with it. A week after I upgraded it turned into a brick (of course I am out of warranty).  I am trying to decide if I should get a versa 2 or stick with the versa special addition (I was able to get the original for 109, and the versa 2 for 139). I like the face size of the original which is why I would lean towards that one.  Has anyone made the switch, and are you glad you did it? I have mixed feelings on alexa as I dont like how she impedes on privacy. But, it could be useful. The texting features is nice (but Im sad its only pre-selected responses). Can you ask it to read your text messages?

And i know the comparison in specs, but I want real life users thoughts.

Hi @Whispey1234

I upgraded from the Versa to the Versa 2.  Personally, I like the Versa 2 much better.  The Alexa feature is really nice too.  I ask it things all the time now.

Technology keeps moving forward so I try to upgrade whenever it is feasible for me to do so.

The Versa Special Addition and the Versa 2 are both good 😊

The Versa 2 is probably a nicer update to the Versa; however my wife's has had major issues with syncing for the past few months.  It has gone for a week at a time with 'device not found' showing in the app and uploading no info at all.  I know her phone is not 'officially' supported (Nokia 7.1 with Android 10 and app version 3.14) but I personally think that is just an excuse as my Ionic syncs all the time with my unsupported Nokia 8.1!  She now has a Garmin Vivomove 3s which syncs all the time.

As for Alexa, if you don't link it to your Amazon account it won't listen to anything!
