Should my Versa screen wake up when I touch it?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve had a Versa for 4 months now and love it. I usually have my screen wake set to manual to preserve battery life, not wanting it to light up at every wrist flick, etc.

The only thing is, I read somewhere that the screen should light up when I touch the screen? This doesn’t work for mine to the point that I never knew this feature existed. Should this always happen even when screen wake is Serb to manual?

After reading some other stuff, I noticed that if I firmly hit the bottom of the screen where it meets the band just right it will light up. Also if I’ve just had the screen on it will respond to a tap shortly thereafter.

But normally if I touch my screen nothing happens!

Any help would be appreciated!

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern regarding your Fitbit Versa screen. Thank you for providing the additional details. I would like to confirm that to turn on your Versa, you can double-tap the screen or press any button if you have the screen wake setting turned off. Upon checking with our support team, I was told that you have already contacted them and that they were able to help you. Thank you for your time and efforts.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
