Show Me Your (Clock) Face!

I'm a bit underwhelmed when it come to the available Versa clock faces. Could you post yours and tell me where you downloaded it from? I'm very interested in clock faces that aren't in the Fitbit store.

Did you find one you liked? I'm a nursing student so I'm looking for a watch face with that second clock hand and date on the display as well. Also if you already got yours: How is it holding up to all the hand washing?

I used to make quite a few watch faces for Pebble and Gear. I now find Fitbit studio so easy to use, and the fact its mostly javascript/css/html based is superb.

Made this one which I use daily. Tells me only what I’m interested in: Time (incl seconds), Date, Day, Battery, Steps today and Heart rate. It’s called FLANK and you can download it on Fitbit clock gallery.

Also currently making an updated version which will allow you to change colours of the components.

Hi Buckerz

Love your watch face clean and just what I need, trying it now and I don't see a settings menu on the app to change the time format from to 24hrs or the colours, only had the default orange.

I'll release FLANK 2.0 later this week or next which will have several
Colour options, 24/12hr format and regional date formats.

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. Smiley Very Happy

I appreciate your participation in the forums and for sharing the clock-faces you're currently using. I also would like to thank some of you for keep on developing new clock-faces, I'm very glad you're finding our platform easy to use to submit your own creations!

Finally, keep in mind that some clock-faces available for the Ionic are not currently in the list of clock-faces for the Versa and vice-versa, so it's possible you won't be able to find the one you're looking for, for example Gauges, or the name is associated to another clock-face.

Thank you everyone for your participation, if there's anything else I can do for you, of if there's anything you want to add, please feel free to reply! Smiley Wink

Thanks Marco-

My initial comment was to find a clock face for the Versa that was very much like the Gauges one for the Ionic.  Does one like that exist, or can someone make it?  I don't really care what it's called - I just like the look of it!

Thanks

Yes it will include km/mi and 12/24hr clock. FLANK 2.0 will look pretty much the same as the original, but all elements on the screen will have colour options, including the background.

Also, by tapping the screen you will be able to cycle between Steps, Distance, Calories, Elevation/Floors and Active Minutes.

I had no idea the original FLANK would be so popular and Im a bit overwhelemed with the feedback. I'm just ironing out a few creases at the moment and it should be ready to reease by mid next week. I have to make sure it's absolutely perfect as Fitbit don't allow updates to watch faces (for some reason!!??)

I like the battery gauge on that...

@buckerz Obviously, you're a developer and I'm not. But, I've definitely had updates on at least one clock face I had installed (HUD2, if you want to contact the developer and see what they did).

@meresydotes Really interesting you should say that, I've been reading through the publishing documentation and you're right, it does seem that you can release updates to previous apps/faces. Thanks

Saw this post the other day and I love this watch face. It's so clean. I'm looking forward to the update to change colors and the date format.

I use "Nothing Special" it meets my needs with the exception of showing steps per hour.https://fbgallery.cpfx.ca/?hw=versa#/clock/08e8296c-8ee5-4e20-aa32-80f8624f0021https://fbgallery.cpfx.ca/?hw=versa#/clock/08e8296c-8ee5-4e20-aa32-80f8624f0021

Hey, for those who choose clockfaces that show the weather, I've read that some can drain your battery pretty fast. Anyone having trouble with them?

@buckerz Did you set the release date in the update ? Thanks ^^

Haven't got as far as that yet, I ran into some trouble using fitbit's cycleview widget for cycling through stats which has caused me to redesign the entire gui layout (ugh...thanks Fitbit...).

However I'm actually glad I've done this as have noticed other small errors along the way, whereas now my code's much more neat and tidy, and probably a slight more efficient too.

FL2NK (I wasn't happy with Flank 2.0) should be available in the next couple of days, maybe sooner if I can finish work early.

Turns out I've hit a bit of a brick wall with the latest version, and with nobody willing to help in the SDK developer forum, and... with most of Fitbit's widgets being closed source I don't really have a way forward, which is REALLY annoying as it's pretty much ready to roll otherwise. The problem relates to the rotated stats on the right hand side. In the simulator it works fine (see screenshot below), but when deployed on an actual Versa device the activity stats completely disappear (see photo below), almost as if it's not even rendering the element.

Until I find a way forward or @JonFitbit or one of the development team can help with this bug I'm afraid I'm going to have to stop development as there's just too much work to try and retro-develop a new version of the cycleview_widget.
