Shut off mid run and sometimes exercise as well

I’ve had multiple episodes of the first are shutting off while in the middle of my run, not necessarily shutting off but no longer tracking any exercise and back to the home screen. Sometimes also happens when using workout mode. I think it’s recording my run only to look down and realize it hasn’t been for quite some time. So frustrating. I have restarted it and everything please help

@jrubano1031 Before I recommend a factory reset, I have some questions:

 

  1. Does it happen for any type of manually started workout or only runs? I.e. if you simply start weights or exercise called Workout, does it happen as well?
  2. Can you turn off the connected GPS and see if the issue persists?
  3. Do you have any 3rd party clockfaces you're using? If yes, please switch to one of Fitbit originals and see if the issue persists
  4. What's your phone model, OS and fitbit mobile app version?
