Just  wondering if any researchers have encountered skin sensitivities with any of the bands and which is better if, for example, you are latex sensitive?  or if you start itching with increase is sweat levels? Is there one material type which is better?

Good question. I personally was wondering about the metal (buckle & metal case on the watch itself); I've had reactions to other watches in the past so I'm a bit nervous. However, I was assured by customer service that the metal used is nickel-free.

Sorry I don't have any insight on the band itself.

I've noticed that I start to itch more if the bracelet hasn't been cleaned in awhile.  Once I run the band under the faucet with some soap and dry it, the itchiness goes away

I just recieved the Versa 2 and love it.  I noticed a reaction on my wrist in the form of the band.  I just looked it up and I am wondering if latex was used in the new band.  I have a very mild latex allergy and this is what it looks like when I start to get a reaction.  If did not see any labeling to note that that band contained latex.

Me too! Had it on since Christmas and started a rash yesterday. 😔

has anyone found anything on this? I just got my versa 2 and it is breaking me out. I've never had a problem with any other bands from fitbit (charge2-surge-flex)

Have you tried the leather bands, @jennrenee7 ?  They are relatively inexpensive on third party retail sites, such as Amazon. There are also woven bands. If you are concerned about the buckle, you can always try something like this. You can also search for nylon bands and even scrunchie bands. (Imagine that!)  I believe Amazon has a 45 day return period. That should give you enough time to see if your skin reacts. I personally have never has an issue returning anything to Amazon.

Yes....I was told the band has no latex but there is something that is an
irritant. I think the back of the Fitbit irritates too. It is frustrating
since I never had an issue with the other versions.

I get my typical latex reaction to the Versa3 band. Already ordered a new leather band. Allergies are so common you think the company would have had more foresight. I would never give this as a gift afraid I could expose my friend to the same red open sore rash I have around my wrist.
