I have tried multiple Bluetooth speakers and headphones, I have tried both wrists, I have even placed the Versa directly in front of the Bluetooth speakers - no matter what the music sounds like a record skipping and it’s HORRIBLE!!!!! I can play music from my iPhone to the same Bluetooth devices with zero issues, but from my Versa it’s a disaster. I’m a kids Yoga teacher and use music during my classes a lot to help engage the kids...I was excited to be hands free/no phone while I teach. Very disappointed in FitBit and going there’s is a fix. Please don’t tell me to restart the device or unpair the Bluetooth, done that. Did noting

Such a shame and Fitbit seems to do nothing.  😡

I’m having the same issue, wish I saw this prior to buying.  Will contact Fitbit tomorrow to try and return this thing.

Best Answer

Hate you are having same issue. Just keep bugging Fitbit. I’m sorry.

My wife and I have Versas. When my wife uses her Bluedio Hurricane Turbine bluetooth headphones, the music is crystal clear. No problems. Same when connected to my Versa. Today I got my own bluetooth headphones - Bluedio T2S Turbine - the music is choppy and distorted.  I connected them to my wife's Versa and same deal. We did test the headphones with other devices and it work not problem. It's only the Versa that has the issue. We are going to try another type of bluetooth headphones and see what happens. So there is hope; we need to find headphones that are compatible.  But I do hope FitBit can fix this so all bluetooth connections work flawlessly.  We are counting on you FitBit! Thanks for reading. Have an awesome day!

I was so excited for my Versa just so I could be handfree during runs. You’re right- the music was SO choppy. Worst. Run. Ever. Back to the flip belt I go. 🙄

Sucks!!  Call Fitbit. I just say everyone keep complaining and maybe they will issue and update or something to fix this issue. They should make it right!!

I am having the exact same problem and I can't seem to get an answer from anyone

Seems to me Fitbit would see all of the complaints and try to fix this problem.  I definitely wouldn’t recommend the Fitbit Versa to anyone because of this reason.

I'm having the same problem with a new Versa I got as a gift. I guess nothing has been done about this.

As far as I know nothing at all has been done 😞

So disappointed, the only reason I bought the versa was for the GPS and hands free running, to read that this has been an issue with the watch since the word go with no correction attempt really is upsetting. I have tried three different sets of my heads phones and none seem "compatible" - my only question is how come this hasn't come up in the reviews - I read/watched about 20-25 reviews to ensure this was a good watch and not one mentioned this problem!

Guys,

I downloaded music and when played it was very choppy.  I tried to download again.  But, before I downloaded my music the second time, I chose to normalize the volume.  The music plays with no problems now.  My bluetooth earbuds are working very well.

Best Answer

Thank you. I will try that.

Best Answer

How do you normalize the volume? I am having the same problem with the new Versa 2.

Open the Fitbit app on your PC

You are on the dashboard

Once the Fitbit is connected, click on music icon on top tool bar

Select Personal Music

Then click the cog icon in the top right corner

Select Normalize track volume On

Good luck unfortunately it didn't work for me I am thinking about taking mine back or maybe buying some different Bluetooth headphones and hope they work!

I bought my versa 2 specifically for listening to music at the gym and mine is choppy too. I have a pair of JBLs and they work great with my phone. This is a huge disappointment

I ended up buying the Bose Sports ear buds as they were on sale for $99 over the holiday and they work great. Plus can’t beat the sound with Bose headphones of any type.

I purchased another set of bluetooth headphones Jaybird Tarah and they work perfectly with the Fitbit Versa 2. Its another £90 ish but it works now. my next disappointment however has already been realised....Fitbit Pay hardly any banks are actually signed up to it so you cannot registered cards to your wallet....I have tried both a Sainsburys and Nationwide cards.

I just don’t feel like I should have to keep buying different headphones because of fitbits product not working properly. Maybe Fitbit should reimburse us for the inconvenience
