Hello, i just got my Fitbit versa yesterday and I am not very happy with it.
All notifications except Skype are coming up on the watch. Skype ones are coming when I open the phone screen (and see the notifications) and then when I try to reply through the watch it tells me that the notification is expired and and is no longer valid. I tried reinstalling, restarting etc, but problem remains. All settings are correct and should allow all notifications.
Second problem is with calories. According to the watch I have walked about 8000 steps today and burned about 3000 kcal. That's absolutely ridiculous. I didn't work out today and I went for a 2 hour and 8,5km walk with a stroller so it didn't read most of the steps anyway. But that is not the issue, the issue is that there is no way I burned 3000 kcal so why on earth would it say I did.
Third issue is with walking tracking. Why does the watch have gps if it doesn't use it to track workouts? I understand that it won't read my steps since my hand is holding the stroller but it should recognise the distance I have walked, shouldn't it? When I tried it today for like 15 minutes, it says a few hundred steps and like 0,05km. That is very inaccurate, because a few hundred steps should be more than 0,05 km. When I saw the walk in Endomondo it showed my trajectory just fine but said it was only 0,05km. What is the use of the GPS??
Sorry for the long post, but I'm a bit confused and angry and feel like I have waisted my money...

Sorry, I can't help you with the Skype issue as I don't use it.
The calories burned include all calories including those burned at rest. You can read more about that here .
The Versa does not have a built in GPS. It can use the GPS in your smartphone if connected. Take a look at page 40 in the manual .

GPS is enabled and on everywhere. When I tried walking, it shows the trajectory on the map but not the actual kilometers. Are the kilometers based on only steps or can I change that? I can't see what purpose the GPS has if not, only to track where you've been?

Do you have your phone with you? They have to be together with the phone's GPS connected to work. That is an additional setting beyond just pairing via bluetooth. Did you look at that page in the manual?
I'm not sure it will show the distance until you complete the exercise.

Yes, i had my phone in my pocket. And when I saw that it didn't track my km, I finished the workout and it still said 0,05 km, meanwhile Endomondo tracked about 1km. I deleted those workouts from Endomondo so I can't show you. I can try again tomorrow...

So I am out walking and started a workout on versa and in endomondo. After about 50 minutes I stopped both and result is on the pictures. Versa didn't track almost anything.
GPS is on, everything is synced. Although while walking there was a notification on my phone that GPS is connected but when I opened it, if said this:
