Okay, so last night I set my app to bed time at 9:45. I told it I woke up at 6:50. Between those two times, I woke
up numerous times, once actually getting up and getting out of bed. I was interested in this device because of the sleep setting, but so far all Fitbit has told me is that I was “asleep” the whole time, no time awake or spent restless. That is so ridiculous, especially because I know that my quality of sleep is terrible and I wake multiple times during the night, as well as it’s and turn. This was a huge selling point on the versa 2 and I’m so disappointed.

On my Inspire, there is a sensitivity setting. If you put it to high, it will detect and react to more movements and awake periods.
That said, while my device is usually better than what you describe, it's not great.
Most nights, it gives me readings for total sleep, REM and deep sleep. Some nights, it says it couldn't get a heart rate and doesn't tell me much of anything though. One time, it said I was sleeping and even showed a heart rate of 111 while it was sitting on a counter and had not been worn in hours.
I also got this with sleep as a big selling point and am disappointed. I plan to switch to an under-mattress sleep monitor.
But try the sensitivity setting if yours has it, it sounds like that may help you some.
