Sleep not recording - Versa 2 SE

Bought FitBit Versa 2 SE yesterday around lunch time, and have been wearing it since ~2pm yesterday afternoon after recharging the battery to full and upgrading the watch software and changing watch face, etc.

 

I went to bed ~11pm or ~12pm and woke up this morning at ~8:30am.. and it didn't record any sleep. 😞

This is really upsetting because I had identical problem with FitBit Charge 3 so after trying 3 different Charge 3 I ended up exchanging for the a Samsung Galaxy Fit(and never had any issue with it).

I've also used other FitBit watches in past(Charge 2, Alta HR, etc) and they also worked fine with any out any issue.

 

Q. How come the new FitBit watch models can not detect sleep at all when all other brand's activity watches and also the older FitBit watches have no problem doing this simple feature???

 

(My only guess is that FitBit have decide to use the cheapest possible sleep tracker since Charge 2 models to maximise the profit.. sigh 👎)

Anyone else have this issue? or do I need to return it like I did with 3x FitBit Charge 2 watches?
