The first night I had my watch it tracked my sleep and shows sleep stages on my pone app. last night when it tracked my sleep it shows sleep pattern on my phone. Why the difference? I really like the sleep stages info and would prefer those stats.

Hi @soberkev That is a question that is often asked as it does seem odd. The answer is simple though. In order to generate sleep stages, which as younsay are much more detailed and generally useful and interesting, the tracker needs to record certain data consistantly throughout the night - most importantly Heart Rate data. Even sometimes when your heart rate graph LOOKS consistant through the whole night, it hasnt given the app good enough data to generate sleep stages. Everyone gets the odd night where there are no sleep stages, just patterns - I had one this week and another last week - If it happens consistantly you need to look at things like where you wear the tracker at night, how tight the band is, your sleeping position etc. Experiment with the band position - some people even find it gives better sleep results when worn on the inside of the wrist - and with the band tightness.
HERE is a Help Article which might help you understand Fitbit sleep tracking better.
