Does sleeping with a wrist brace change how Versa records your sleep patterns?  I have carpal tunnel and sleep with braces on my wrist every night.

Hi @Ms.mrk I am not sure, but I think it is possible it might make a difference. Depending on whether you wear it underneath or over the top of the wrist brace might affect how it records heart rate. I would think under the brace would be best for measuring HR accurately, but that might be pretty uncomfortable. The other consideration is how having a wrist brace on might change your patterns of movement. I have no idea if it would or not but it is possible.

If you do give it a try let us know what happens!

I'm so glad you asked, I'm wondering the same thing. I have it in both wrists and I have been alternating the watch and the braces but my wrist and hands are pretty bad so I started taking the watch off completely. I wish they made a support that accommodated both.

I've been wearing a cheap “one size” cotton glove on the one hand to make it a bit more level. I find it’s most comfortable with the face of the Fitbit on the inside of my wrist. It isn’t ideal, but works okay until I can figure out something else. I was hoping to find a better idea but it seems like there aren’t any.

Just be careful you don’t strap the brace on too tight. It will hurt in the morning, or in my case at 3am when I wake to use the restroom. I had to switch arms for day due to the irritation.
