After updating my Versa to the latest firmware I tried the new smart wake alarm option with disappointing results. I've been using my Flex and then my Versa to wake me up at 6 am using the silent alarm which doesn't disturb my wife. The problem with the smart wake option is that it wakes me up too early and demands my attention. Fumbling with it half-awake I either turn it off entirely and miss getting up on time or it goes into snooze mode, bugging me every 10 minutes. I ending up turning the option off.
What I would like it to do is give me a few buzzes during the proper light sleep time a couple of times to gently rouse me without fully waking me up and then have the normal alarm go off at the appointed time. The buzzes should not require any user interaction.
Is there something I'm missing with this new feature or is it just not for me and I should use the regular silent alarm?

Thanks Carol,
I think until FitBit adds more options to this feature I might just try setting the alarm for 6:15. Then if it wakes me @ 5:45 to 5:55 it won't be so early and 6:15 at the latest wouldn't be so late.

Hi @JazzCAD - It might be best for you to go back to using the regular alarm. Smart Awake is not for everyone. I personally do not use it but know of people who like it.

It worked. I set the alarm for 6:15 am and the smart wake went off at 5:51 am.
