I, like many on this forum as of late, have had a hell of a time with the new firmware update. I recently purchased a Versa 2 a week or so ago, went to the gym once before updating it, and it tracked fine. Saw the update, installed the new firmware, and now its WILDLY inaccurate. I'm not a new Fitbit user, by Versa 1 worked like a charm for years until it died a spectacular heat death a few weeks ago (thats another story). Regardless, being the loyal little piggy I am, I bought a new tracker and well...here we are. My HR will fluctuate from 160 and then flash down to the 80s...all while I'm doing intense cardio. In general, it stays about 105, with random spikes. This is completely inaccurate, I'm a nurse, I know how to physiology works, I know how my own heart works...SO, with that being said, is there a patch for this new update? I'm gonna dump this sucker faster than a lead balloon if there isn't some news soon!

I am having the same issue. Heart rate reading will go up to around 165-170 during intense workout then immediately jump back down to 120 and start going back up just to have it jump back down again. I reached out to customer service via chat and asked if anything was being done about the update and they responded "our team is looking into the issue." then they sent me an email and informed me that I couldn't get a replacement because my device was no longer under warranty (which I already knew) but gave me a discount code for 35% off a new device. No thanks, Fitbit. You clearly are aware that this is a common issue after the update. Fix it.
