So how do I use MobileTrack?

With Connected GPS being so unreliable lately, I'm looking at MobileTrack as a replacement to having some other app for GPS tracking.  How do I use it? Should I turn off Connected GPS on my phone? Start an exercise on my Versa and also start the corresponding exercise on my phone? Stop both exercises when done and hope everything syncs and combines correctly?

Hi @azjerry,

Basically, you use Mobile Track or the Versa tracking, not both. Mobile Track is designed for times when you don't have the tracker with you.

Check out the article below for all the how-to's of using Mobile Track.

Darn. Not what I expected. Guess I'll have to keep using a separate trcaking/mapping app until Fitbitz finally fixes connected GPS.

A followup question. I'm going on a trip and was considering leaving my Fitbits at home, depending on Mobiletrack while gone. To test this out, today I'm not wearing a Fitbit. While out and about, the app on phone seemed to be working well. However, once I got home, the Mobiletrack data started disappearing. Is it because my phone is syncing with the Versa sitting on my nightstand and the Versa's data (or lack thereof in this case) is a higher priority and overwrites Mobiletrack data? If not, what happened?
