Did you by any chance do a factory reset?

Can you please also confirm the versions of watch Firmware and Fitbit App, to make sure they are correct.

@Ms2perkey  It seems the watch is confused, as if a factory reset or firmware update failed

try following the setup procedure

Hi Guy, I followed all the steps.

I've got my fitbit paired and synced to my phone. It's tracking steps and updating them to my phone app, but it won't receive any text message alerts from my phone.

Any ideas on how to fix?

All settings say it should be getting the notifications

@UnhappyAmy

Good, looks like the watch is working normally and the notifications aren't setup properly, if you uninstalled the app at some point, you need to do it again.

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Notifications

And verify the top 4 items are correctly defined.

Also

App notifications

and select any apps you want to hear from.
